Short CV Lorena Dini
Lorena Dini is a Senior Health Systems Researcher & Designer at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. She joined the Department of General Practice in 2008, where she is a member of its management board and is currently leading the Working Group Health Systems and Health Policy Research. Her work focuses on the design of health systems projects that aim to integrate local and global perspectives and anchor the health systems approach to policy-relevant primary care research. Since 2019, Dr Dini is an elected member of the Advisory Board and appointed member of the Task Group Strategy of the European Forum for Primary Health Care (term 2019-2022), the elected Vice-president of the Section Health Services Research of the European Public Health Association (term 2019-2022), the Spokesperson of the Research Section of the German Public Health Association (term 2021 – 2023) and Member of the Sciana Health Leaders Network (cohort 2020). She is also a member of the German Society for General Medicine, the German Alliance for Global Health Research and the network Women in Global Health Germany. Dr Dini is an experienced lecturer who regularly teaches about health systems and public health policy in international postgraduate programmes at the Maastricht University, the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the University College London and the Technische Universität Berlin.
